Bournemouth Air Festival :D

We went out to Bournemouth Air Festival with my sister and her family. There were a lot of people there, all out to see the planes flying over the sea :)

It was a very hot and sunny day, and great weather for seeing the aircraft ^^

One of the most popular displays was the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight….British people are very nostalgic about things like that ^_^

The flight involved a Spitfire (a very iconic and well known world war 2 fighter plane), a Hurricane, and a Lancaster Bomber (there’re only 2 left in the world which are capable of flying)

Our overall favourite show was the Red Arrows stunt team. I hadn’t seen them for a long long time, and they’re still excellent at what they do….the skill involved in manoeuvring planes so close together like that, and at such high speeds, is amazing :D
