Osaka Museum of History

Osaka Museum of History is housed in a really interesting building completed in 2003, and from the observation spots on each floor of the stairwell you can see out over the park towards Osaka Castle ^^

The museum has a lot of interesting things inside, showing the history of Osaka starting from ancient times when it was the capital city of Japan, and through to the post WW2 era.

There are some really good models of streets on display, which are really well detailed and fun to look at :)

The main exhibition areas are spread over the top few floors of the building, and it’s interesting to see how Osaka has changed as time moved on.
