Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is a zoo / farm / petting zoo just outside of Bristol…..we went there for the first time on Monday, and we didn’t realise how big a place it was even though we’ve lived less than 10 minutes away for the past couple of years ^_^;
Being Easter Monday and very sunny, it was very busy….we had to queue for 45 minutes to get in even though we arrived just after opening time >.>
Being a “zoo farm”, and set around a working farm, they have a lot of farm animals as well as the usual exotic animals from far and wide that you’d usually see at a zoo, and you can buy bags of food to feed some of them :)
They have a good selection of animals from all different countries, and they’re all in spacious enclosures replicating their natural environments. It’s nice being able to see them up close ^^
Each animal type also has an indoor space that they can come and go from as they please.
There are also several play areas, indoors and outdoors, for children around the zoo farm, and there are regular tractor rides (for a small charge).
This is a fun place to visit on a nice day, and a chance to get up close with some of the animals (especially the farm animals which you can touch and feed) :)
