Halloween at Dunster Castle :)

For Halloween this year we thought it would be a good idea to visit the second most haunted National Trust property in the country; Dunster Castle ;)

We’ve been to Dunster before, about 2 years ago https://spinner182.wordpress.com/2013/05/27/dunster-castle/
and it’s a really nice place to visit :)

The castle itself is a huge house that you can explore right down into the haunted crypts, and the whole building is filled with interesting spaces where a ghost could be lurking :P

For Halloween there were various Jack-o-lanterns dotted around the grounds…..but we didn’t see any real ghost while we were there ^_^;

Y’ made a great Halloween themed meal for us again this year, with Jack-o-lantern Japanese curry and fish sausage wrapped like a mummy which was yummy ^^

Last year all the local shops sold out of pumpkins before we could get one, but this year we had no problem getting a nice one to carve ^^

We wanted to try something a little different for this year’s Jack-o-lantern, so being a collector of some Hello Kitty things (https://spinner182.wordpress.com/?s=hello+kitty) I wanted to try making a Kitty-o-lantern :P

Surprisingly, it came out really well >.>

I made it together with Y’, and we’re really pleased with how it came out ^^

Who knows what we’ll come up with for next year’s carving :P
