At the weekend we went to a model railway exhibition held in a local school. It’s held there every year but this is the first time we went :)
I’m not a huge fan of model trains, but I do really like seeing well made dioramas like these and really appreciate the amount of work that goes into making them look so impressive ^^
There were lots of really well laid out landscapes for the trains to run across, with loads of tiny little details that bring the models to life.
Most of the railways were of the same size (or gauge) but there were a couple of larger trains on display, and some very tiny little ones hehe
There were stands set up selling various trains and bits and pieces for making the railways, and a couple of workshop demonstrations and a small painting gallery.
It was fun to look at all the different model railways and it seemed like a very popular event too :)
