The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

The Roman Forum is a huge plaza area adjacent to the colosseum in Rome. It was once the heart of ancient Rome, but it’s now an open air museum showcasing the ruins of these huge buildings.

If you are using a Roma Pass card then entry to the colosseum and the forum only counts as 1 of your free entries together ;P

The forum is spread over a really big area with loads and loads of ruins to see……and like most buildings in the city everything just has this massive feel to it; like it was built by / for giants ^^

There are a lot of steps to get up to some of the areas but it is well worth it for the impressive views which you can enjoy from up there ;)

If you go to the colosseum in Rome then it is definitely worth visiting the forum as well….just be prepared for a lot of walking :P
