Cotswold Hare Trail 2017 – Search For Hares

On Saturday we went for another drive around the Cotswolds to search for hares, following on from our previous hunt :P

Again they’re not the easiest things to find, but thankfully 4 out of 5 of these ones were pretty straightforward to locate :)

We started off by going back to Stow-on-the-Wold where we’d found the hare on our last visit, but couldn’t get in to see it because the library had closed for the day ^_^;

The next one was at Bourton-on-the-Water and was easy to spot just outside the entrance to the motor museum there :)

There’s a pretty cool hare to be found inside Burford Garden Centre; just down to the right once you go inside the main entrance.

This next one gave us some trouble; it was listed as being in Chipping Norton at Jaffe & Neale but when we got there they told us that this hare was jointly sponsored by several shops in the town……so if you go looking for it it could be at either: Gill & Co, The Cotswold Newsagents, Oats, Jaffe & Neale, The Crown and Cushion Hotel, or The Tea Set ;>.>

Lastly we went to Woodstock, we spotted the hare outside Flowers estate agents as we passed on the way to a car park, but they closed at 5pm and during the 5 minutes it took us to park and walk around the corner the hare had been moved inside, and the door was locked ^_^;

We’ll have to go back to Woodstock to get a proper look at it…..and in the meantime we’ve discovered that another 3 hares are to be found in the town too ;)
